Sheridan Kaserne, Augsburg, Sept 2007 (Source: Andrea Conklin) Access road to Sheridan construction site. (Is this possibly the Grasiger Weg road?) Last September my friend and I visited Sheridan Kaserne in Augsburg while on vacation in Germany (my hometown is nearby).  My friend was once stationed there for three years and it was quite emotional for him to see it all again.  Augsburg just started turning the area into a new home park (Sheridan Park) and soon the old army buildings will all be taken down by the construction company - what a shame to see part of history disappear.
