(Private photo collection) VIPs arrive at Tempelhof on US Army Air Corps C-47. I have revised the date on this photo (originally thought it was from the 1947 period) because I found the exact same photo in the "View and Facts of Berlin" booklet that was published by the 78th Inf Div Special Services Office probably in late 1945 or early 1946. Although this photo has been partially damaged, I felt there were enough interesting aspects to the photo to warrant inclusion on the Berlin Page. |
