Büdingen Airfield, Büdingen, 1997
(Source: Hanno Englaender, Germany)
Little is known about the history of this Army Airfield. It has been home to Cavalry and Combat units and it appears that it was built during the Fifties. Its hangar has recently been renovated (late 1990s?) and brought up to modern standards. It is no longer capable of supporting fixed wing operations and is also known as Armstrong Heliport.
