Soldiers Field, Nürnberg, 1966 (Source: John deTreville) Display of equipment, May 1966. This was to celebrate the anniversary of the 2nd ACR on May 21, 1966. There was a parade later (no pix, I had to march in it). It was outside of Soldiers Field -- The BGS (Bavarian Border Police) with whom we worked closely would not march inside the field because they still wore WWII style German helmets, and didn't want pictures of them inside Hitler's old stadium.
