Husterhoeh Kaserne, Pirmasens, 1966-68 (Source: Richard Tracy) German construction worker slaps on mortar to close off windows (including the stairwell window on the right) on the third floor of Bldg 4616. Appears that air conditioning vents have been added. Could be that it involved a "secure area" for commo/crypto gear. An interesting observation is that a/c units were very unusual in Germany! Anybody have any idea of what was being done here?
