Guard shack. The main guard office (Photo #32) was in the corner ground floor to the left of the main entrance. A Staff Sergeant Kolingsburg was in charge of the security at that time. The LITTLE shack (in picture) was there the whole time I was stationed there. The weather was very bad at times and I guess the poor guard kept out of the weather...seems to me that the 3d Infantry always had the main entrance guard duty. I don't remember anyone from 69th or 6/52 ever pulling front entrance guard. But, we sure had plenty of KP, once a month at least!
