to provide information concerning the 33rd Army Band, the USAREUR

and periodically to hold reunions. |

Ralph Thadeus hosts a very interesting web site that fosters comradeship
among the veterans of the Army Security Agency (signal intelligence

US Zone of Austria during the Cold War. The Association holds reunions
about every 18 months and has a very large contingent of Wels ASAers
who served with Field Station 8618 AAU (HQ ASA Austria) and the operational
unit, Det. K, FS 8608 AAU, stationed in Wels, Austria. |

A
very detailed web page prepared by the US Army Personnel Command that

Geoff's site contains various subpages with lots of photos and information
on US military installations in Germany. (I am posting links to the
individual US Army related pages on the appropriate Installation Pages.) |

TimeandDate.com |
A very helpful website if you are trying to determine the year that a document or publication or even photo was created and you only have a reference of the day and month (MMDD or DDMM) and the "day of the week" (Monday or Tuesday etc.) .... Example: I have used this to determine the year that a particular edition of "The Week in Munich" OMGB publications was issued. This publication - for some reason - lists all kinds of events in the Munich area with a day and month and the day of the week. But not a single mention of the year. |
