A USAFE RF-4 Phantom II makes a photo reconnaissance pass over the soccer field from the north -- very low and very fast! (Fortunately for the photographer, it had made one earlier -- from the west -- so its re-appearance was not totally unexpected!) The Phantom's heavy black exhaust trail is quite obvious: you can see why the pilots who flew it over North Vietnam were glad to get new engines which burned fuel more cleanly; with these old engines, the aircraft was very easy to track visually!
