7th Transportation Group (Photo submitted by James Allen, Hq Co, 7th Trans Gp) Griffin and Wenlund driving in a radio truck down the autobahn to Garmisch for some TDY. Allen was in a jeep driven by SGT Strader as he took this picture in March 1964. Our radio equipment was an AN/GRC-26D. We had two radio trucks, HQ-26 & HQ-27. HQ-27 is in the picture on the autobahn and is the truck I was responsible for after John Griffin left for home in the summer of 1964.
