The 64th Medical Gp was activated at Fort Benning, Ga. in 1951.
In 1952, the group was deployed to France and was attached to the 302nd Field Hospital at La Chapelle, near Orleans. (The group is now attached to the 34th Gen Hosp, successor to the 302nd FH, and supports the Com Z Medical Dvision.)
The 64th Med Gp is stationed at Orleans and is commanded by Lt Col Richard H. Ross. |
