Members of the Bomb Disposal squad attach the wire to the bomb in preparation for detonating the bomb on the Baumholder Tank Range.

With all of the wires in place, the EOD men depart, leaving the wire trailing behind. They then will connect the opposite end at a safe distance before detonating the bomb.
