7796th Signal Photo Company, Hanau (Source: Bill Doyle) This is a picture of General Manton S. Eddy taken shortly after he took command of 7th Army. As I recall it I shot this portrait at EuCom Hdqs, Heidleberg either in late 1950 or early 51. Gen Eddy is reading the guide book on Germany and has not had his patch changed to 7th Army. He was C.O. of the 9th Inf. Div. during WWII and later C.O. of XII Corps.
