Several construction projects have recently been completed or are planned for the expansion of Camp St. Johann.
Two buildings were completed recently and officially opened in November:
EM Club - at a cost of $16,000, the new club can seat 220 persons at its 35 tables. The club boasts $5,000 in furniture and equipment. A dance band plays nightly at the club.
Post gymnasium - the new $90,000 gym has facilities for basketball, boxing, volleyball and weightlifting. Previously, the post's basketball team had to travel to Bischofshofen to practice on a church court.
Construction projects currently underway are a 6,000-sq ft, $20,000 warehouse; and a $19,000 dispensary.
Additional projects are planned for this winter: an alert building; a guardhouse and another warehouse.
