Barracks, Mannheim - Entrance to HQ Building, 2nd Bn,
350th Infantry. Co H was located in the same building.
This duty was a disappointment after Austria. The training area were restricted to
specific sites; no day room; barracks were crowded. We were a cocky bunch and on
base was an engineer outfit that had to vacate their space to accommodate the 350th.
They were resentful and fights broke out in the EM club.
