I was a Combat Engineer with the 237th Engr Bn in Heilbronn in 1973 before transferring to the Seventh Army Soldiers Chorus 73-75 at Patton Barracks, Heidelberg. Our Chorus, by the way, was housed and attached to HQ Co, USAREUR. We reported to HQ Co for our chain of command but were assigned duty with the chorus. I'd appreciate if you could find somewhere to list us among the other units on Patton. Thank you so much for your great website. Steve Millman

Bat.from December 1966 until July 1968 in HHC in the survey platoon. Also was part of the TDY to Ethiopia in 1967 to do level work for the Army Map Service. What a trip that was. Made lots of good friends there (Germany) and would love to hook up again with any of them.

Where are you from?   California Do you have any comments?   I served at Warner Barracks in Bamberg, Germany. My unit was Headquarters Company 3rd Brigade 4th Armored Division. My MOS was radio teletype operator. I was there from Dec. 1965 til may 1967, and took a European discharge and traveled afterward. It would be nice to hear from some of you guys from the old company.

How did you find this Web Site?   Looking for old friends from the 67th Medical Depot Where are you from?   Detroit Mi Do you have any comments?   I was at the 67th from July 1965 through Sep 68. It was a great place, great time to be in Germany. The friends I met then are still friends today, both German and American. I don't get a chance to visit Einseidlerhof much anymore - things have really changed over the years. Kind of miss the 60's more than I thought possible.

How did you find this Web Site?   chat room Where are you from?   Harlingen, Texas Do you have any comments?   Great site...i was stationed at Rheinland Kaserne 1966-1968 with the 78th Engineer Bn, HHC S-4 section..i enjoyed my stay, except for hohenfelds and graf...ugh...my wife is from Ettlingen (Karlsruhe is only about 10 miles away) have been married 33 years..kids are trilingual.english, german and spanish...came in handy when they spent a year in Germany with oma and opa..Alter Fritz is still there outside the gates of the Kaserne and so is the Rheinland Deck..most other places gone..Markgraf, Picollo and Stern..we go back most every year..i enjoyed it very much..i have a freind in Corpus Christi (braulio dominquez) and Dan Budde (dubque,iowa)both were at Rheinland...Karlsruhe is void of amis..you hardly hear English..all gone..Ettlingen is same..heard a couple speaking English but did not ask where they were from..i speak German now but with dialect from the Ettlingen..i will retire at years end and hope to return again..it is nice to remember the old times..i know when we were all young we just wanted to go back to the land of round door knobs..lol..lol..bis spater...auf wiedersehn

I was in the Motor Pool, I was in charge of the M-88's and M-578's...My room was on the first floor across from the club and outside my window was "BLOOD ALLY" those's were the days! Roller rink, Strawberry fest, the white horse pub, Spider Barnett! Shaky you cant fly out the window! What ever happened to SGT Strickler & the Cab driver? Cora Uitting I think of you often. Racing M88's across the air field was not smart! Had to wash all the trucks, tanks, ect...How silly and fun it all was. I was in Bks in Vogelweh for awhile, then the 91st moved to Daenner Kaserne across from Kleber, and I worked at Panzer in the Depot. I helped set up the inventory system for the new NCR 500 computer system there. We worked out of semi vans. Worked for Lt.Youngblood...glad he understood kids in their 20's. Went to Speyer rock fest and was there for the Munich Olympics happening, and the good old Badder Minof Gang. Had great times there, traveled and saw a lot.
