Making a left on Hohemarkstrasse would take you to the Motorenfabrik (85th Ord Bn), Schwimmbad and downtown Oberursel; a right led to the Hohemark and the Taunus Mountains (Grosser Feldberg). The field with the hay stacks would eventually be the site of three dependent housing buildings that were constructed in the mid-1950s. Two additional family housing buildings (officers & civilians) would be constructed on a small hill to the right (west) of the main gate.
