The 93rd Military Police Battalion was reactivated at Frankfurt, Germany on October 16, 1986 - a year after having been designated as a provisional unit. The activation of the battalion was part of a theater-wide reorganization of USAREUR military police assets.
The 93rd was assigned to the 18th MP Brigade (activated in 1985) of V Corps and given the mission of providing command and control of several numbered MP companies. |
