12th Constabulary Squadron (Source: author's collection) The vehicles in this photo (M8 in center of picture) show unit markings of the 6th AIB when it still reported directly to VI Corps headquarters. This site has been identifed by the photographer as Bamberg. I believe that, at this time, the unit was already transferred to the US Constabulary but the vehicle markings had not yet been changed.
