"Q" - Quarterly - Services: C Company operates a Q Line Summer 1980 - Engine pulled out, fan towers pulled off and the hull is steam cleaned.
Every quarter we would have to meet on Monday morning so that the hull mechanics could test drive the vehicles and bring them back on the line for a week of maintenance. The week before we had to download all ammo and weapons (M-85 and coax MG). We were fully uploaded with main gun rounds and our TA-50. All we had to bring on alert is the back plates, protective masks, NBC equipment and assigned weapons. Sure do miss it now. |
