1st Infantry Division, 1955 (Source: Signal Corps) Soldiers and familiy members of the 1st Inf Div arrive in the US aboard a troopship as part of Operation Gyrospcope. The Division was replaced in Germany by the 10th Inf Div after having served 13 consecutive years overseas.
