1st Signal Company, 1955 (Source: John Veit, 1st Sig Co) This photo was taken during the Armed Forces Day Open House at USAREUR Signal School (May 21 1955). John Veit is the soldier on the left. He was able to catch a ride in the helicopter. On the 1 hour flight down from Wurzburg to the Signal School they flew over miles and miles of bombed out buildings along the way.
