Tk Co, 16th Inf. Graf, Fall 1950. Tank Company M-26s engaged in indirect artillery fire - you can just barely see the aiming stakes in front of the tanks. Today, this is a "lost art" for tankers.

Tk Co, 16th Inf Regt, Graf, Fall 1950. My dad, as 4th Plt Ldr, Tank Co, 16th Inf Regt. Note the 103d Inf Div patch on his right shoulder, awarded for his duty in WWII, as an infantry platoon sergeant with the 409th Inf Regt. Of the many photos of my father, I enjoy this one the most. He is young, hard-charging and a long successful career lies ahead.
