3rd Bn, 8th Cavalry - 8th Inf Div (Source: Paul Cleary) This may be my favorite picture. It was taken from my barracks and across the street is the location of the squadron's tracks and helicopters. At full screen it shows the tank retriever, the APC's, trucks, jeeps, the CH34, OH 13 and the UH 1B. I don't know if the Army has changed it's philosophy but back then all equipment was meant to operate out of the same environment. Note the 3/8 CAV logo on the tank retriever. (The area where the tank retriever sits is "Red 85" on your map. The helicopters are more in "Red 22" -- bottom left hand corner of map).
