2nd Bn, 56th Arty, 1966-68 (Source: Richard Tracy) Taken shortly after the 40-foot AN/GSS-7 antenna had been installed on the radar tower, and we were trying to shift the VHF radio van into the radar van's revetment: the radio van moved a few feet, and the engine died; our efforts to fix it were futile, so we had to ask HHB's motor pool for "professional help". They came up in a jeep, visible at left -- beyond the aiming circle we were using to align the radar antenna -- and "did their thing"! [See Miscellaneous photo # 3 below.]
