2nd Bn, 56th Arty, 1966-68 (Source: Richard Tracy) The 2/56 BOC in its final configuration (as of December 1968), as seen from behind the Ready Hut: the VHF radio van is in the revetment (and its vulnerable antenna mast moved to a location inside the fence, close to the front gate); the 80-foot UHF tower is fully functional; the AN/GSS-7 antenna is on its radar tower (with the OC, radar, and UHF commo vans below it on the driveway, concealed by camo nets), and so on. As always, Charlie Battery's MTR is "guarding the flank"!
