The VHF
radio van -- visible in the middle of the previous "overview"
photo -- just after relocating from the Old BOC. The van
was the hub of the battalion's tactical radio net, but could
be used only for voice communications; it could not transmit
ADL (automatic data link) signals. You can see the van's
whip antennas, a lead to the wire antenna, and a cluster
of cables linking the VHF radios to the BOC's internal communications
