2nd Bn, 56th Arty, 1966-68 (Source: Richard Tracy) This was taken right after we had installed the large (40-foot) AN/GSS-7 radar antenna on the BOC radar tower. We had disassembled the small (20-foot) antenna on top of the radar van, and relocated the van to a spot just below the radar tower (between the Commo and OC vans). We tried to move the VHF radio van from its exposed position by the back gate into the radar van's revetment, but the engine died. These two fine fellows, from the HHB motor pool, fixed it!
