I believe this was the Commo Section building. I was never in the building, but there was no other place for the commo people to work, so that would make sense. By the way, although I cannot recall what unit they were, their call sign was "72". | ||

This was the first of the buildings in the row of building to the right of the 1/4 ton in Jon Moon's second photo. They were all the same size. I was never in that building. Other than the HQ building at the other end, memory serves, those buildings had more to do with the maintenance section than operations. It may be possible to get more information from Dave Harroun on this. | ||

That was the guard shack. It was about 4 to 5 feet deep and a foot or so wider. There was a small table and chair and a radio to contact the AADCP. Also, there was a roll-around fire extinguisher outside, which we would have to take out the gate any time the helicopter bringing colonel Bliss from the HQ in "K Town" arrived. That thing just about blew me over once when it took off. | ||
