PFC Ken was the only tower controller assigned to Kitzingen AAF in 1962 - the airfield had permanent GCA. They extended him for the "good of the service" beyond his enlistment for a very long time due to the controller shortage.
This was J.'s first time out with the GCA Radar Team - he took the picture of the Indicator and the GCA hut just before he was told that he should not be taking pictures of the Indicator.
