V Corps LRRP Co, 1960s (Source: Bob Murphy, V Corps LRRP) This pic of an L-20 light aircraft taxiing was taken at Bonames Army Airfield in September 1965. Bob took it and it is quite atmospheric. Men from the LLRP Co used to jump from CH-34s and L-20s stationed at Bonames. The aircraft would usually just get up to jump height and the men would drop on the opposite side of the road (from the airfield) into farm fields that are now covered by high rise apartments.
