280mm Atomic Cannon (Private collection, Walter Elkins) Comments on back indicate that the photo of the 280mm cannons was taken at Grafenwöhr in 1961. The unit markings "7A - 39F" on the left side of the bumper of the 4x4 Heavy Gun Lifting truck (far right) identify the unit: 3rd Battalion, 39th Artillery.
