508th Military Police Battalion, 1960s (Source: Dick Burch) This picture was taken on the Munich- Augsburg Autobahn in 1963. I was waiting for a VIP escort from the USAREUR PM Shop. When they were coming to or through Munich TAPS would meet and escort them througn Munich to the Salzburg Autobahn or Nurnberg Autobahn and get them on their way. Have to say this was one of the great MP assignments of my 23 Years in the MP Corps.
