Boscomantico Army Airfield, Verona (Source: William Chakeres, 70th Trans Det) Picture shows the beach area of the US Army R&R facility at Cisano, Lake Garda. The compound was rented from an Italian millionaire. The building in the back served as the snack bar. The facility was located on the eastern shore of the lake, between Bardolino and Lazise. Swimming, boating and water skiing were the major activities there.
