The left side was the hanger area, on the right our rec room. The old (airfield) tower was to the left. That shot up building had a room full of radios taken from downed B17's ... we rewired one of them because they were driven by a 24V dynamotor. Best radio I ever had. The person in the photo was Mr Harvey, civilian engineer.
