7th Transportation Group (Photo submitted by James Allen, Hq Co, 7th Trans Gp) The ceremony taking place on the parade field in June 1965 is the merger of HHC, 7th Trans Gp with HHD, 10th Trans Gp to form HHC, 107th Transportation Brigade (part of the COSTAR II reorganizations). The picture was taken by James Allen from his barracks window on his last day at Flak Kaserne, Ludwigsburg, before rotating to the States. HHC, 7th Trans Gp had moved to this barracks in the previous winter to make room for a large transportation outfit that had moved into Flak Kaserne.
